The Center for Public Innovation (CPI) of the Asian School of Governance empowers local governments and their partners to tackle complex societal challenges through innovative practices and collaboration. Inspired by global models, including the Government Performance Lab at the Harvard University and Center for Public Innovation at the Johns Hopkins University, CPI combines research, civic design, and community co-creation to deliver equitable and lasting impact.
Through our Public Innovation Hubs—a network of university-led centers across Asia—we work with cities, municipalities, and stakeholders to reimagine governance, enhance public trust, and create systems-level change. Our Co-creation Labs provide platforms for going deep into specific technologies, sectors, or localities to help drive work in the Public Innovation Hubs.
To build the capacity of public institutions to deliver resident-centered solutions by fostering innovation, driving collaboration, and cultivating a culture of impact-driven governance.
